A 22-year old youth was found hanging from a tree on Wednesday in a forest area of Zurhama in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
According to an official, a 22-year-old youth identified as Shahid Ahmad Wani son of Afsar Wani, a resident of Check Zurhama of district Kupwara, was found hanging from a tree at forest area.
Meanwhile, a police officer from the concerned police station said that they have taken the cognizance in this regard.
After conducting all medico-legal formalities, Police handed over the body of the deceased to his relatives for last rites.
