A youth namely Firdous Ahmad was hit by a tear gas shell and was critically injured in Bandipora, during severe clashes between the men in uniform and the protesters, Wednesday.
The town witnessed widespread clashes throughout the day when North Kashmir people were polling for Baramulla Lok Sabha seat.
The youth was hit by a tear gas shell in his head and the doctors in local Hospital have shifted him to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
According to the Hospital sources, Firdous was critical when shifted to SKIMS, Srinagar.
