SRINAGAR: A 26 year old youth was killed in a road accident in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district late last evening, officials said on Saturday.
Official sources told that the youth identified as Mohammad Ameen Dar a resident of Mir Mohalla Bumhama Kupwara was hit by a vehicle (JK09B-4354) while he was walking near his residence late evening, leaving him critically injured. He was immediately shifted to Kupwara hospital ever he died on way to hospital, they said.
A police official confirmed, the death of the pedestrian and said that a case has been registered in this regard and investigations taken up. (GNS)
