SRINAGAR

Army on Wednesday evening allegedly shot at a youth outside their camp in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

official sources told the news gatherer that army’s 34 Rashtriya Rifles fired upon a biker when he didn’t stop at the Behibagh checkpoint. The youth has received a bullet in his shoulder. however, he was shifted to Srinagar hospital for the treatment.

Sources identified the youth as Mudasir Ahmed Thokar son, a resident of Kadder Kulgam. Family members alleged that Mudasir was shot at for the fault of his none.

When contacted In Charge Police Post Behibagh confirmed the incident and added that the youth was driving at a very high speed and didn’t stop at two checkpoints. He added that the youth is stable. (CNS)
