SRINAGAR: The young man, who was shot at by unknown gunmen last night, has lost his battle for life, reports said. He was identified as Aijaz Ahmad Malik, a resident of Warubugh in Pulwama district.
Aged around 26 years, Malik was nicknamed as Judga.
Reports said he had received two bullets in his abdomen. His family had moved him to district hospital in Pulwama. Given the serious nature of his injuries, he was referred to Srinagar. It is there that he is reported to have succumbed to his injuries.
No militant outfit has staked the claim for attack. At this hour, no police official was contacted for a police version. There are not many details available about the young man.
