SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressed the Annual Day function of KC International School at the General Zorawar Singh Auditorium Jammu. He congratulated the school’s management, teachers, and students and extended his best wishes.
The Lieutenant Governor encouraged students to dream big, believe in themselves, and work hard with focus and persistence to achieve their goals.
“I admire the energy and commitment of young people. Our youth are driving change and aspire for a society free from fear, corruption, and backwardness,” he said. However, he cautioned against forces trying to destabilise the country and urged everyone to unite against such elements.
He called on students to aim for India’s revival as a global leader in education and innovation, drawing inspiration from historical centres like Nalanda and Takshashila.
Highlighting educational reforms in Jammu and Kashmir under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the Lieutenant Governor urged teachers to foster creativity and critical thinking in students. He stressed the need for a balance between scientific learning and cultural values, promoting innovation while respecting individuality.
The Lieutenant Governor also felicitated meritorious students and praised the school for its role in shaping future leaders.
The event was attended by Sh. Chaitanya Chowdhary, school staff, students, parents, and prominent citizens.
