Srinagar: A large number of youth belonging to various walks of life in Srinagar led joined PDP at Party HQ in Srinagar in a simple but impressive function in presence of People’s Democratic Party, Youth President, Waheed Ur Rehman Parra.
Welcoming the youth into the party fold, Parra said that during the tenure of late Mufti Mohd Sayeed, as Chief Minister, a number of policies and programmes started for the employment and recognition of youth in the State, but unfortunately the recent turmoil derailed the policies and programmes started by the government.
“However government is trying best to encourage more and more youth towards the start ups for which various government institutes provide financial support besides proper guidance for success of the businesses,” said Parra.
Majid Khan who joined the party along with his supporters, on the occasion said that the present government has the capability of solving problems on all fronts particularly solving the problems of unemployment of the youth.
Khan urged the Srinagar youth to whole heartedly support the PDP and strengthen the hands of Ms Mehbooba Mufti, President, PDP as she is the only dynamic and energetic leader in the state who can solve the problems of the general masses including youth of the State and come upto their expectations.
He also thanked all the youth for supporting PDP & impressed upon them to work with the cooperation and coordination of Youth President Waheed Ur Rehman Parra.
