SRINAGAR: A 22-year-old youth tried to end his life by slitting his throat in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday evening.
Quoting an official news agency KDC reported that a youth name (withheld), a resident of Ompora area tried to end his life by slitting his throat with some sharp object. “He allegedly had some dispute with his brother,” he said.
The said person has received nine stitches on his throat and is under treatment at the District Hospital in Budgam.
A Police officer confirmed the incident and said further investigation has been initiated.
