Police on Monday arrested a person along with a pistol from Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A police official told GNS that Special Operation Group (SOG) of Police apprehended a youth identified as Suhail Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Rajab Bhat of Zaffron Colony, Pampore along with a pistol during a raid.
The official said that Bhat had stolen the pistol from one of the PSOs of a PDP politician last week.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case and started further investigations in this regard, the official added.
