As Kashmir is observing complete shutdown on Monday, Kashmir University and Board of School Education Kashmir have postponed all their examinations scheduled for tomorrow.

Earlier, the Islamic University of Science and Technology postponed its ‘much awaited’ first convocation. A decade has already passed since its inception but the varsity is yet to award degrees to its 2500 graduates. After CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s direction, the convocation has been rescheduled for Tuesday now.

Separatists called for a complete shutdown against the death of Zahid Ahmad Bhat, who was attacked by communal mob in Udhampur early this month and lost his battle for life in New Delhi early today.

Fresh dates of the postponed papers will be issued later, the educational institutions said.
