A deputation from Zanskar called on Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah here on Wednesday and presented him a memorandum of demands pertaining to the welfare and development of this remote and hilly backward area of the state.
The Chief Minister told the deputation that holistic development and economic welfare of backward and far-flung areas are receiving focused attention of the government. “The demands put forth by the deputation would be given due consideration,” Omar told deputation.
