SRINAGAR: Eid-ul-Adha, the festival of sacrifice, will be observed on July 10 as the moon of Zil Hajj was not sighted on Wednesday evening, J&K Grand Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam has announced.

Quoting Grand Mufti J&K news agency KDC reported that Zil Hijjah moon in Jammu and Kashmir was not sighted today.

“There was not a single testament of Zil Hajj moon. Therefore Eid-ul-Adha would be celebrated on 10 July,” the Grand Mufti said
