SRINAGAR
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan on Friday directed the officials to seal all unregistered coaching centres and those centres which do not fulfil all the parameters laid down by the government for a proper functioning of these centres.
The spokesman said Div Com chaired a high-level meeting that was attended DDC Srinagar, Director School Education Kashmir and other officials.
The Div Com stressed on the need to streamline the entire coaching sector to maximize the benefit to students and avoid any exploitation and offering of below par service by these centres.
The Div Com said that all those coaching centres which are not registered or whose registration is still under process should be sealed immediately.
He said that those coaching centres that lack facilities like qualified tutors or absence of heating arrangements should be sealed with immediate effect.
