Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday said that the slain militants killed in south Kashmir’s Dooru in Islamabad district belonged to the Jaish-e-Mohammad(JeM) outfit and were residents of Pakistan.
In a statement, the police spokesperson said based on the seizures made from the spot and other incriminating materials collected so far have confirmed that the killed militants were a part of JeM outfit.
Earlier, police had said that slain militants “apparently” belonged to Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) outfit.
