A team of 16 youths of Gujjar & Bakerwal community of Kashmir region on Tuesday returned back after completion of 15 days study tour to South India & Delhi.

The team led by Sh. Rigzen Wangail, Sub Area Organiser, reached Srinagar International Airport by Air Asia flight from Delhi on 25 12 2017. The team was warmly welcomed by the officers and officials of Sector Hqrs (Spl.Ops) at Srinagar Airport.

The spokesman said during 15 days study tour, team had witnessed various historical places as well as educational institutions such as,  Indian Institute of Science, Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Bannerghatta Biological Park, Vidhan Sabha, High Court, Science Museum & Marketplaces at Bangalore, Tipu Sultan’s Jama Masjid, Tipu Death Place, Ranganathan Swamy Temple, Colonel Bailey’s Dungeon, Tipu Sultan Summer Palace & Museum and Gumbaz at Srirangapatnam, St. Philomena’s Church, Chamundi Hill & Mysore Palace at Mysore (Karnataka)

Bagh-e-Bahu & Zoo at Jammu, and Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, National Museum, India Gate, Rajghat, Lal Quila, Jama Masjid, Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah, Chandni Chowk, Connaught Place & Palika Bazar at Delhi besides attending SSB 54th Anniversary Day Parade at 25th Bn Hqrs Ghitorni, New Delhi. The team had got an opportunity for a photo session with Hon’ble Home Minister, Sh. Rajnath Singh and interaction with Director General, SSB Sh. Rajni Kant Mishra.

De-briefing of the contingent of the study tour was held at Sector Hqrs (Spl.Ops) SSB, Srinagar which was presided over by Sh. Ganga Singh Udawat, Second-in-Command. The students were very happy & enthusiastic and praised SSB for organizing such a wonderful study tour which they had never dreamed.
