SRINAGAR: The mortal remains of a Anantnag MBBS student, who tragically succumbed to Renal Tubular Acidosis (RTA) in New Delhi, have been brought back to his hometown in Srigufwara, Anantnag district, this evening.
An official said that the mortal remains of Arfat Ahmad Thokroo (28), the son of Abdul Rashid Thokroo, were received at his residence in Pethnoo Dachigam, Srigufwara.
The 28-year-old’s untimely demise on March 22, 2024, due to RTA, a condition characterised by the kidneys’ inability to remove acids from the blood into the urine, has deeply saddened the community.
