SRINAGAR
A kidnapped girl was recovered by Budgam police at railway station Banihal on Sunday.
A Police spokesman said Ghulam Mohammad Bhat Son of Mohd Sabir Bhat resident of Ichkot Budgam lodged a case in in Police Station Budgam that his daughter name withheld has been kidnapped by Gazanfer Ali Rather son of Ghulam Rasool Rather resident of Ichgam on Saturday.
Acting upon a specific information Badgam police traced an accused along with the girl at Banihal railway station.
The girl was later handed over to her family and accused was arrested on the spot
In this regard police station Badgam has registered a case under FIR number U/S 363 RPC and further investigation have been taken up.
