Srinagar Jammu highway has been thrown open for one way traffic.
Officials said that due to the bad road conditions, only one-way traffic was allowed on the highway on Thursday and the vehicles will be plying from Jammu to Srinagar.
“rain and landslides had blocked the highway at many stations in between but authorities have started highway clearance operation and are expected to reopen from both the sides soon.,” he added.
However, the poor visibility had also disrupted the air traffic at the Srinagar international airport earlier causing huge inconvenience to the intending flyers.
