One person died and seven others were injured in different road accident across the valley.
A Santro car bearing registration number JK05C/0636 hit and injured a pedestrian, 11 years old Reyaz Ahmad resident of Shangergund, Daligund near Chatroosa crossing. The injured boy was shifted to Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Dangiwacha Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Maruti car bearing registration number Jk02F/5529 met with an accident near Army Camp in Beerwa, resulting in injuries to two persons travelling in the car. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Beerwa Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a Maruti car bearing registration number Jk01G/2645 skidded off the road near TCP resulting in injuries to two persons who were travelling in the car. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Kralpora Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Bus bearing registration number JKF/0934 hit and injured Saif-u-Din Khan age 70 years son of Mohammad Yousf Khan resident of a Dewar, Lolab at general bus stand Kupwara. The injured was shifted to Hospital for treatment. Kupwara Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, Alto car bearing registration No. JK01J/3935 hit and injured a child Zeenat Bashir age about 04 years daughter of Bashir Ahmad Bhat resident of Sheikh Zoo Ganderbal near Shilwat National Highway. Injured child was hospitalized. Sumbal Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a Tata 407 load carrier bearing registration number Jk01C/8676 hit and injured a pedestrian near JVC, hospital. The injured was shifted to hospital. A case was registered in this regard.
In another accident, an unknown vehicle hit and injured Mohammad Hussain constable of JKAP 9th BN posted at Haj House Bemina near JVC. The Injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura for treatment. Parimpora police has registered a case in this regard.
