One person died and two others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley, police said on Thursday.

A Scorpio bearing registration number JK02W/5236 hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK03/7656 at Nehama, Kulgam, resulting in critical injuries to motorcyclist Mohammad Shafi Padder, age 24 years, son of Abdul Majeed resident of Kanipora, Kulgam. The injured was shifted to District Hospital, Kulgam for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.

A Sumo bearing registration number JK03B/5671 hit and injured Abdulla Khatri age 60 years, son of Mohammad Dulla resident of Gadool near Vailoo, Kokernag. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment.

In another accident a Maruti Car bearing registration number JK09/3914 hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK05B/7836 driven by Nazir Ahmad Sheikh son of Mohammad Ramzan resident of Waskura, Ganderbal near Degree College, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to the pillion, Ghulam Nabi Bhat son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Phatla Kanispora. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.

However police has informed that they have registered cases in all of three accident cases.
