SRINAGAR

One person died and four others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir, police said on Monday.

As per a statement a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK01S/5599 driven by Mohammad Yaseen Sheikh resident of Kadlabal, Pampore collided with an unidentified Tavera near Samboora, Awantipora, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist. The injured succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital. A case has been registered in this regard.

A Tavera bearing registration number Jk03C/9444 hit and injured a pedestrian Mst. Zarifa wife of Ghulam Rasool Dar resident of Pazalpora, at Panzalpora Bijbehara. The injured was shifted to Bijbehara hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.

A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK15/1835 hit a Scooty bearing without registration number near Saraf Mode, Tangmarg, resulting in injuries to Scooterist Irfan Ahmed Sheikh son of Gul Mohammad and Saqib Manzoor son of Manzoor Ahmed Sheikh residents of Noorbagh, Baramulla. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.

A Motorcycle without registration number driven by Kamal Singh son of Pretam Singh resident of Kathua, Jammu hit and injured a 6 years old Numan Raja son of Raja Abdul Salam Mir resident of Shivpora, Srinagar near Karan Bagh on Boulevard Road, Srinagar. The injured has been shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
