As per a statement the meeting discussed various measures relating to the rehabilitation of the people affected in the clashes between the two groups. It was decided in the meeting to sanction immediate relief to the maximum of Rs 2 lakh each to those whose houses have been damaged or gutted and shops looted during the clashes in various areas of Jammu Division.

Meanwhile the state government has also ordered a judicial inquiry into the Kishtwar incident by a retired Judge of the High Court in a time bound manner.
