SRINAGAR
One died and six others were injured in different road accident across the valley, police said on Sunday.
As per a statement an Auto load carrier bearing registered number JK01M/7087 turned turtle at Watlar near Town Hall, Lar, resulting in on spot death of a 12 years old boy Jaffar Ahmed Mughal son of Abdul Gani resident of Waliward and injuries to three other passengers. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, a motorcycle and a L.P. Truck bearing registration number JK02P/ 1444 collided at Kokagund, Veerinag, Islamabad, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist Irshad Ahmed Sofi resident of Pampore and the pillion Faheem Ahmed resident of Nowgam. Both the injured have been shifted to District Hospital, Islamabad for treatment.
In another accident, a Tipper bearing registration number JK05B/3116 hit and injured a pedestrian Karnail Singh resident of Deedar Pora, Handwara at Jutty near Degree College, Baramulla. The injured was shifted to SMHS Srinagar for treatment.
