SRINAGAR
Two youth hanged themselves to death in Sopore and Srinagar on Saturday evening, said police spokesperson.
The deceased have been identified as 21 years old Javid Ahmad Khan, who hanged himself in his bed room at Kutri Narbal. And 22 years old Zahir Mushtaq Khan son of Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, who was found hanging with a ceiling fan in his bed room at Badoo Bagh, Khanyar.
In both of the cases police has started an investigation under section 174 CrPc.
While as in another incident a 35 years old lady (name withheld) resident of Dooru Islamabad, has consumed some poisonous substance at her home.
Police has informed that she was immediately shifted to District Hospital for treatment.
