One person died and three others were injured in two separate road accidents in Islamabad and Srinagar, police said.
A Swift car bearing (5086DL-1C) driven by Abdul Rashid Mehand collided with an auto load carrier (JK03D- 4726( driven by Mudasir Ahmad Lalu resident of Kawarigam at Kehribal in the jurisdiction of Police Station Mattan. It resulted in injuries to the auto driver and two pedestrians Javaid Ahmad Ganaie and Mohammad Iqbal Bhat residents of Kawarigam.
The injured were shifted to District Hospital Islamabad for treatment wherefrom Javaid Ahmad Ganaie was referred to SKIMS Soura where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered case in this regard.
In Srinagar, a truck (JK01C-3323) driven by Mohammad Sadeeq Fafoo resident of Parimpora turned turtle near Ansari Toyato in the jurisdiction of Police Station Parimpora, resulting in injuries to the driver. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard.
