One person died and six others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK02J/3594 driven by Ajaz Ahmed Pandit 22, son of Nazir Ahmad resident of Zawoora, rammed with an electric pole at Zawoora Crossing, Panthachowk, resulting in on spot death of the driver.
A Bus bearing registration number Jk02F/3517 on way from Baramulla to Boniyar collided with an Alto Car bearing registration number JK05A/2089 at Highway Gantmulla, Sheeri in district Baramulla, resulting in injuries to three persons including driver of Alto Car. All the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
An I-10 Car bearing registration number DL2CAE/2208 on way from Islamabad to Srinagar collided with a Load Carrier bearing registration number JK03C/3494 at Uranhall, Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to two passengers boarded in the I-10 car. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Truck bearing registration number JK13/4757 collided with an electric transformer and electric pole at Badshah Nagar, Srinagar. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident. But electric pole got damaged.
A Tavera bearing registration number JK18/5266 driven by Waseem Ahmed Padder son of Mohammad Yousuf resident of Bohgund, Kulgam skidded off the road at Highway near Wangund, Qazigund, resulting in injuries to the driver of the vehicle. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A police statement said that it cases have been registered in all these incidents.
