One person died and two others were injured in different road accident across the Kashmir valley, said police on Saturday.
Imtiyaz Ahmed Mir son of Mohammad Shafi Mir resident of Dardkote received serious injuries when a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05C/8132 while on way from Uri to Dardkote turned turtle at Kagli Mod, Uri. The injured Imtiyaz was shifted to sub district hospital Uri where he succumbed to his injuries. The body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
Meanwhile, a Santro car bearing registration number HK04/9002 hit and injured 70 years old Hajra Begum wife of Ghulam Rasool Rather resident of Chottipora Hygam on National Highway near Bulgam crossing. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a Scorpio bearing registration number JK03B/4172 hit and injured 13 years old Shafqat Ahmed Chara son of Irshad Ahmad resident of Rakhibrah at Rakhibrah Islamabad. The injured boy was shifted to hospital for treatment.
While as police has registered cases in all of the accident cases.
