Minister for Public Enterprises, Hajj, Auqaf and Floriculture, Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed Sunday has said that government puts all out efforts to ameliorate the lot of people especially living in far off areas of the State, adding the life standard of these people shows positive change. In this development era, he said as many as 2 Degree Colleges, 16 Higher Secondary Schools, 39 High Schools, 48 Middle Schools and 124 Primary Schools are functioning in the Larnoo area of South Kashmir.

As per a statement the minister has further added that there are number of health institutions in the area which include one PHC, Sub Centres and Dispensaries, besides one District Hospital, equipped with latest machinery. He has said Rs 13.50 crore spent on the installation of Central Heating System in District Hospital.

While addressing a public gathering the area, the Minister has also listed the other endeavour of the coalition government and said that 116 transformers were provided under RGGVY, besides providing poles and conductor in 34 habitations. He has said various bridges and link roads are under execution under centrally sponsored PMGSY and added that 38 kilometre road length have been macadamized in the district during last year.

Peerzada Sayeed called upon the people to maintain peace and tranquillity so that the programmes of development and welfare go to its logical end.
