Two persons died and eight others were injured in two separate road accidents in the valley.
According to police spokesman, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03D/1971 turned turtle near Panzalpora, Bijbehara, resulting in on spot death to two non-local laborers Mehta Paswan resident of Basmati Bihar, Bacho Reshi son of Chotela Reshi Dev resident of Singianierva and injuries to five others. All the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another incident, a School bus bearing registration number JK04A/8150 of Life School Charar-e-Sharief Budgam turned turtle near Kakaw-ring, resulting in injuries to three students. All the injured have been shifted to Sub District Hospital Chadoora, Budgam for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
