Two persons including a 16 year old girl died while four others were injured in different road traffic accidents across the valley, police said on Monday.

A Tipper bearing registration number JK03/8045 hit a 16 year old Fatima daughter of Sonaullah Khan resident of Saderkoot Bala at Saderkoot Bala, Bandipora, resulting in her on spot death.

In another accident, a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK05A/6784 turned turtle at Salamabad, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to Ghulam Qadir Lone son of Abdul Jabbar resident of Salamabad Dachina. The injured was shifted to Primary Health Centre, Boniyar for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, in another accident a Truck bearing registration number JK02W/9141 rammed into the fencing of Gurdawara at Rawalpora, Handwara, resulting in injuries to the driver and the conductor of the truck. Both the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.

Jaleel-ud-Din Shah Moharkan son of Azeem-u-din resident of Khankhi Mohalla while learning Motorcycle rammed into a wall near police Station M.R.Guni, resulting in his injuries. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.

A Truck bearing registration number JK06/1089 skidded off the road and fell into deep gorge near Umoh, Kulgam, resulting in injuries to truck driver Ashok Kumar son of Prem Chand resident of Chanani. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment.

However, police has informed that cases have been registered in all the incidents.
