As per a police spokesperson a 14 year old boy Mudasir Ahmad Shah son of Mushtaq Ahmad Shah resident of Chander-Seer, Baramulla committed suicide by hanging himself at his home. The family members tried to rescue him by shifting him to Sub District Hospital, Kreeri but died on the way to the hospital.
In another incident a lady age about 30 years (name with held) resident of Trehgam, Kupwara, sprinkled kerosene oil over her body and set herself ablaze. She has been shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara with burn injuries and is being treated.
However police have informed that they have registered cases in these incidents.
