According to a police statement, two ladies attempted to end their lives in North Kashmir last evening.
“In an attempt to end her life, a 25 year lady (name withheld) resident of Hyhama, Kupwara silted her throat at her home,” the statement said.
She was immediately rushed to SMHS, Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, a 17 year old girl (name with held) resident of Doodipora, Handwara consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was shifted to District hospital Handwara for treatment.
Police have registered cases in the incidents.
