Two teenage boys Saturday drowned in a pond at Reshnari Handwara when they had gone to take a bath there along with other children.
According to a local news agency, KNS reporter, two cousin brothers Muzamil Manzoor son of Manzoor Ahmad Mir resident of Wader Bala (13) and Tariq Ahmad Mir son of Sunaullah Mir (14) had gone to Rishnari pond for a bath along with other children however both of them failed to get out of the pond and were drowned. Superintendent of Police Handwara Ch Mohammad Aslam told KNS that they have rushed a police rescue party to the spot and the efforts were on to fish out the bodies.
