SRINAGAR
Four persons died and eighteen others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir, police said on Sunday.
As per a statement an unidentified motorcycle driven by Junaid Ahmad Shah son of Mohammad Amin resident of Khiram hit and injured a pedestrian Abdul Gani Nadaf son of Abdul Aziz resident of Takiabal at Takiabal, Bijbehara. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura Srinagar for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered in this regard.
In another accident a Swift Car bearing registration number JK05B/0017 and Motorcycle bearing registration number JK05/2772 collided at Zangam Highway, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Manzoor Ahmed Teli son of Abdul Ahad resident of Ashpeer, Sopore, Tariq Ahmed Sofi son of Sonaullah and Javaid Ahmed Sofi son of Mohammad Sultan residents of Arampora Sopore. The injured were shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital Srinagar for treatment. Among injured Tariq Ahmed succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered in this regard.
An unidentified Motorcycle hit and injured a lady Taja Bano wife of Abdul Hamid Khan resident of Zoogoo, Budgam. The injured was shifted to Public Health Centre, Hardupanzoo for treatment, where she succumbed to her injuries. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Maruti Car bearing registration number JK05/4777 fell down from road at Kaltha Batpora, Kupwara, resulting in injuries to the driver Aijaz Ahmed Kahn son of Mohammad Saleem resident of Chanipora, Baramulla. The injured was shifted to Army Hospital, Badamibagh, Srinagar for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Van bearing registration number JK03C/8589 hit and injured a pedestrian Abdul Rashid Khanday son of Abdul Razaq resident of Shangran at Bragam, Islamabad. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Islamabad for treatment, where from he was referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03A/1607 hit and injured a pedestrian Abdul Ahad Malik son of Nazir Ahmad resident of Adhal at Adhal, Kokernag. The injured has been shifted to District Hospital Islamabad for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Ritz vehicle bearing registration number JK01S/3735 driven by Shehnaz Ahmed Wani son of Mohammad Amin resident of Kakroosa Vilgam, Handwara hit and critically injured two pedestrians Ghulam Nabi Wani son of Mohammad Abdullah resident of Tapper and Mohammad Sultan Shah son of Abdul Ahad resident of Tapper at Tapper Baramulla Highway. The injured were shifted to JVC Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK13A/ 1099 driven by Mohammad Shafi Parray son of Mohammad Ramzan resident of Kalantra Payeen hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK09/3805 driven by Rayees Ahmed Sheikh son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Khanpora at Kacherbately Bala, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Baramulla for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
Two Marutis bearing registration number JK16/593 and JK16/1992 collided at Preng, Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to five passengers. All the injured have been shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
An Alto Car bearing registration number JK03C/0735 collided with Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK02W/8757 at Awantipora Market, resulting in injuries to a lady Zareefa Bano wife of Bashir Ahmed Tantray resident of Bargam, Awantipora traveling in the Alto. The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
An Alto Car bearing registration number JK09/3105 skidded off the road at Palpora, Handwara, resulting in injuries to Aftab Ahmed Khan son of Farooq Ahmed resident of Halmatpora, Kupwara and Amir Hussain Khan son of Bashir Ahmed resident of Bulgam, Kupwara. Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Maruti Car bearing registration number JK05/1961 and Honda vehicle bearing registration number DL3CAB/3028 collided at Choor, Sopore, resulting in injuries to Maruti car driver Ghulam Mohammad Pir son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Achabal, Sopore. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tipper bearing registration number JK02B/1983 fell into a deep george near Imberzal Wari, Sopore, resulting in injuries to driver Nazir Ahmad Lone son of Gaffar Lone resident of Astengo, Bandipora. The injured has been shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Motorcycle bearing registration number JK13B/6448 and I10 Car bearing registration number JK01Q/2075 collided near Petrol Pump, Pandrathan, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Shahnawaz Mir son of Saifullah resident of Bragpora, Islamabad. The injured has been shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Maruti Car bearing registration number JK01D/3080 has struck with footpath near SKICC Royal Spring Golf Course, resulting in injuries to some persons. Further details are awaited.
