Four persons were injured in two different road accidents across the valley and a cowshed was damaged in fire, a police statement said.
“A TATA Sumo bearing registration number Jk01H/1042 hit and injured a pedestrian Mudasir Ahmad Mir son of Mohammad Yousuf Mir resident of Dayan Chadoora at main chowk Chadoora, Budgam. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Chadoora for treatment,” the statement said.
In another accident, it said, “a Sumo bearing registration number JK10/1444 hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Qadir Khan son of Abdul Rashid resident of Arhama at Dursum National Highway, Ganderbal. After hitting the pedestrian the Sumo turned turtle resulting in injuries to two passengers Hafeeza daughter of Mohammad Maqbool and Zareena wife of Wahdood Khan resident of Arhama. The injured were shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.”
Meanwhile a cowshed was damaged in a fire incident in Sopore last evening, the statement added.
“Fire broke out in the cowshed of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Lone son of Abdul Khaliq Lone resident of Dursoo Rafiabad, Dangiwacha. In this fire incident the cowshed got partially damaged. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders and police,” the statement said.
It further said that Police have registered cases in these accidents.
