Four persons were rescued by police when they got trapped due to heavy snowfall in Keller area of Shopian. A police statement said on Monday.
It added that Shopian Police rescued four persons Tariq Ahmad Magray 25 years son of Afzal Magray, Hilal Ahmad Dar, 25 years son of Abdul Gani, Parvaiz Ahmad Khanday, 17 years son of Rustam Khanday residents of Check Keller and Mohammad Latif Laadi, 40 years son of Alam Din resident of Naserpora Keller who were trapped due to heavy snowfall in Keller area of the district.
All the rescued persons were handed over to their relatives. Police said.
