Police arrested the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, and other party leaders in Pampore, on Monday.

The police took Yasin Malik, Noor Muhammad Kalwal, and other JKLF leaders into custody when they were on their way to Pulwama to express solidarity with the families of the two militants, who were recently killed in an encounter and the families of civilians who were injured in forces action.

The arrested leaders were been lodged at Pampore Police Station. Police sources said that Malik and associates were taken in preventive custody.
