All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) chairperson, Syed Ali Geelani, Tuesday called for a complete shutdown in North Kashmir’s Sopore.
Addressing a seminar here to mark 05 Jan 1949 UN Resolutions on Kashmir, Geelani condemned the arrest of youth in Pulwama and Palhallan. “This is state terrorism,” he said, “we are with our valiant youth and they need not to lose hope.”
He said that on January 06 1993 57 persons were massacred in Apple town when BSF set Sopore market and adjoining areas on fire. “To mar that day, people of Sopore are appealed to observe complete shutdown tomorrow.”
