The event focused on settling a wide range of disputes at both pre-institution and pending stages, including motor accident claims, matrimonial issues, cheque bounce cases, money recovery, commercial disputes, and compoundable criminal cases. This initiative aimed to promote peaceful dispute resolution and ensure accessible justice.

Pre-Lok Adalat sessions and counselling were held to encourage settlements, allowing parties time to engage in dialogue. According to reports from various Legal Services Institutions across JK, 1,80,989 out of 1,99,876 cases taken up by 126 benches were amicably settled, with a total settlement amount of Rs. 58,61,39,416/- paid as compensation in cases such as motor accident claims, civil and criminal disputes, labour matters, and more.

Amit Kumar Gupta, Member Secretary of the JK Legal Services Authority, praised the efforts of all involved, including Judicial Officers, Secretaries, advocates, and court staff, for their role in making the event successful. He highlighted the public’s growing preference for ADR, which provides a quicker and more affordable alternative to traditional litigation.
