SRINAGAR
One person died and three others were injured in different road accidents in Valley. A police statement said on Friday.
A Scooter bearing registration number JK01M/6222 skidded off the road near Royal Spring Golf Course, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to the scooterist Aabid Ahmad son of Nazir Ahmad Ganie resident of Sogam Lolab and a pillion Zahoor Ahmad Ganie.
Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment where scooterist Aabid Ahmad Ganie succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile an Alto car bearing registration number JK18/1601 hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Rasool Shah son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Doonipawa, at Islamabad. The injured has been shifted to District Hospital Islamabad for treatment.
In another accident, a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK01T/4841 hit and injured a pedestrian Ali Mohammad Bhat son of Ghulam Nabi Bhat resident of Nowgam Kokernag at Lal Chowk, Islamabad. The injured has been shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
