One person succumbed and five others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.

Police said that a person Ashiq Hussain Chechi son of Noor-ud-Din resident of Gund Kamal, Kralgund, Handwara who was injured in a road accident at Narbal on November 5, 2012, succumbed to the injuries at SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar.

A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK01H/9963 hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK22/1376 at Monchwara, Keller Shopian, resulting in injuries to the Motorcyclist Bilal Ahmed Wani son of Mohammad Yousuf resident of Tangwani. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment, police said.

 A Motorcycle bearing registration number JK04B/5236 collided with a Tipper bearing registration number JK04B/2356 at Chadoora, Budgam, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Gowhar Ahmad son of Mohammad Amin and pillion Shahid Ahmad son of Ghulam Qadir residents of Badipora, Chadoora. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.

Police added and said that a Mini bus bearing registration number JK05A/0631 hit and injured a lady Azi Begum , age 70 years, wife of Habibullah Teli resident of Arampora, Sopore, near Khawaja Bagh, Baramulla. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, an unidentified CRPF vehicle hit an unidentified Auto at Tolinowpora, Kulgam resulting in injuries to Shahid Mushtaq Bhat, 25 years, son of Mushtaq Ahmad resident of Tarigam, Kulgam traveling in the Auto. The injured has been shifted to District Hospital Islamabad for treatment.
