One person died while ten others were injured in different road accidents in the valley.
In Baramulla, a cyclist Imdad Ali Bhat son of Mohammad Yousuf Bhat resident of Hatcinar Magam, riding his bicycle, hit a wall at Ahmadpora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Pattan. He was shifted to Sub District Hospital Magam for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.
In Awantipora, an Alto 800 car bearing registration number JK01W-0251 collided with a Maruti van bearing registration number JK03A-7119 at Barsoo, resulting in injuries to six persons. The injured persons were identified as Manzoor Ahmad Lone, Mohammad Hussain Yatoo residents of Sofigund Wanpoh, Aaliya resident of Kanilwan Bijbehara, Shahid Ahmad Bhat, Saleema and Hameeda Akhter residents of Patalbagh Pampore. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Awantipora police has registered a case in this regard.
In Srinagar, an Eon vehicle bearing registration number JK01X-1660 driven by Nazar-ul-Islam resident of Baghat hit and injured four pedestrians at Batamaloo in the jurisdiction of Police Station Shaheed Gunj. All the injured were shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard.
