One person died while two others were injured in two separate road accidents in Leh and Kupwara.
In Leh, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK02AB-5496 skidded off the road and fell in a deep gorge on National Highway near Fotolah in the jurisdiction of Police Post Khaltsi, resulting in on spot death of one person and injuries to Mangta Lone resident of Charote Doda. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Khaltsi for treatment. Leh police has registered a case in this regard.
In Kupwara, a Truck bearing registration number 2479 driven by Nazir Ahmad Wani resident of Madmagow Kalarooch hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK09-5766 driven by Yameen Majeed resident of Lalpora at wavoora near Rantsinard in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sogam, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kupwara for treatment. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.
