One person died and twenty-two others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
According to police spokesman , a Tata 407 vehicle bearing registration number JK01F/2861 hit and injured Farooq Ahmad Bhat son of Ali Mohammad resident of Bohrikadal, Srinagar near Ziyarat Dastagir Sahib, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to SMHS, Hospital, Srinagar for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries. A case FIR number 49/2013 under section 304 has been registered in this regard.
In another accident, an Auto Load Carrier hit and injured Dy. SP Traffic Rural Mukhtar Ahmad near petrol pump on Highway, Islamabad.The inured officer was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Bijbehara for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
In another accident, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05B/2822 hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK01/7563 at Narbal Chowk, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Ajaz Ahmad Reshi son of Mohammad Ramzan resident of Durbal. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
In another accident, a Tavera bearing registration number JK05C/9534 rolled down in river Jehlum at Uranbowa, Baramulla, in the jurisdiction of police station Boniyar, resulting in injuries to two persons. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
In another accident, a Tavera bearing registration number JK05D/1411 and Alto Car bearing registration number JK05D/942 collided near water pump Khargam, Baramulla, in the jurisdiction of police station Kreeri, resulting in injuries to five passengers. The injured have been shifted to Sub District Hospital Pattan for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Tata Mini Bus bearing registration number JK05/7522 turned turtle at Jithar Kachwa, Budgam, in the jurisdiction of police station Magam, resulting in injuries to eleven passengers. The injured have been shifted to Sub District Hospital, Chandoosa for treatment, where from six injured have been referred to District Hospital, Baramulla for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
In another accident, two unidentified Motorcycles collided at Lalpora Bazar, Kupwara, in the jurisdiction of police station Lalpora, resulting in injuries to a pedestrian boy Suhail Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Gani resident of Kralpora. Injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
In another accident, an unidentified vehicle hit a boy Mohammad Youns Khatana son of Mohammad Yazoob resident of Thanda Pani, Sunderbani at Sonamarg, Ganderbal. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
