SRINAGAR

One person died and thirty five others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. A police statement said on Tuesday.

An Alto Car bearing registration number JK01P/7560 on way from Naranag to Srinagar rolled down into a deep gorge near Wanghat, Kangan, resulting in on spot death of a 21 years old Samaira Hamid daughter of Abdul Hamid Bhat resident of Babapora Habakadal, Srinagar boarded in the Alto and critical injuries to Asif Iqbal son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din resident of Soura, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment.

A Maruti Car bearing registration number JK16/2942 rammed into a culvert railing at Bypass near Benhama, Lar, in the district Gandarbal,  resulting  in injuries to Mohammad Farooq Tandwa son of Soahiya resident of Mamar Kangan. The injured was shifted to Public Health Centre, Lar.

 An Auto bearing registration number JK03B/0820 driven by Javed Ahmad Sheikh son of Ali Mohammad resident of Shodigali, Qazigund collided with an Alto Car bearing registration number JK03D/1261 driven by Raqeeb Ahmad Magray resident of Dooru at Shampora crossing, Kulgam, in Qazigund, resulting in injuries to the Auto driver. The injured was shifted to Qazigund hospital for treatment, where from he was referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for further treatment.

 A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05A/1655 on way from Rohama to Khanmoh met with an accident at Shitloo, Sopore, in Panzala, area resulting in injuries to three passengers. All the injured were shifted to Public Health Centre, Rohama for treatment.

 Two LP passenger vehicles bearing registration number JK01F/2328 and JK01F/2238 driven by Fayaz Ahmad Bhat son of Qadir Bhat resident of Ompora and Javed Ahmad Malik son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Drygam collided near Wadipora, Budgam, resulting in injuries to seven passengers. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.

 A vehicle 709 Load Carrier on way from Karnah to Kupwara turned turtle at Sadna Top, Kupwara, in Tangdar, area resulting in injuries to three persons traveling in the vehicle. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.

 A Tata Bus bearing registration number JK05/5082 driven by Reyaz Ahmad Mir resident of Garoora Bandipora turned turtle near Gundi Dachina Bandipora, resulting in injuries to seventeen passengers. All the injured have been shifted to Sub District Hospital for treatment.
