SRINAGAR
Authorities did not allow Hurriya Conference (G) to organize a seminar on Tuesday, and a large contingent of police force prevented the participants to enter the residence of Chairman, Syed Ali Geelani at Hyderpora, in the outskirts of Srinagar, a Hurriyat (G) statement said.
Criticizing the administration for its “undemocratic approach”, Hurriyat Conference (G) has termed the restrictions uncalled and added that seminar was to commemorate those “martyrs” of 2010 that fell to the bullets of forces.
Lashing at Omer Abdullah led government, Hurriyat Conference (G) referred these restrictions as worst example of “state terrorism” and added that Omer Abdullah government stands exposed and its tall claims of believing in democracy are mere hoax.
