One person died and four others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A Sumo bearing registration number JK01K/8481 hit and injured a pedestrian Fazil Bashir son of late Bashir Ahmad Darzi resident of Wuyan, Mahmood Abad near Wuyan, Awantipora, resulting in his on spot death. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata 407 bearing registration number JK03/4588 and Motorcycle bearing registration number JK13/6633 collided near Green tunnel, Islamabad, in the jurisdiction of police station Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Mohammad Ashraf Jamshid son of Abdul Samad resident of Buchoo, Tral and Shabir Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Akbar resident of Tral. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Sumo bearing registration number JK14A/0941 hit and injured a pedestrian Atika Bano wife of Mohammad Yousuf resident of Donipawa near Donipawa, Islamabad, in the jurisdiction of police station Achabal. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment, where from she was referred to Bone and Joints Hospital, Srinagar for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A sumo bearing registration nupmber JK09/3833 hit and injured a girl Kulsooma daughter of Ghulam Ahmad Hakeem resident of Putkhah on National Highway Putkhah, Sopore, in the jurisdiction of police station Tarzoo. The injured has been shifted to District Hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
