SRINAGAR
One person died and nine others were injured in different road accidents across the valley. A police statement said on Saturday.
An Alto car bearing registration number JK01L/2349 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number Jk01F/4720 near PMGSY office Rajbagh, Srinagar, resulting in critical injuries to motorcyclist Haziq Hussain Bhat son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Sanat-Nagar, Srinagar.
Haziq was shifted to SKIMS Soura where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, an unknown vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian Feroz Ahmad Wani son of Mohammad Maqbool Wani resident of Khanmoo, Srinagar at Semthan, Sangam, in Bijbehara, Islamabad. The injured was shifted to Hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a Tanker bearing registration number JK05B/1024 hit an Auto bearing registration number JK04/4394 at Sanat-Nagar, in Srinagar. Three persons including an auto driver were injured in this accident. All the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number Jk04B/1862 and a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK01K/6123 collided at Hardu-Surush, Khag Budgam, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist and a Pillion. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
Two Trucks and a Tipper collided near Nepora on Highway, in Qazigund, resulting in injuries to a conductor of truck Parshotam Singh son Roop Singh resident of Ferozpora, Punjab. The injured was shifted to Hospital for treatment.
An Auto bearing registration number JK05C/4291 collided with a motorcycle bearing registration number JK05c/2758 near Amarpora, in Tarzoo, Sopore, resulting in injuries to a motorcyclist Manzoor Ahmad and a pillion Shahzad Ahmad Dar residents of Boniyar. Both the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment.
