Fire engulfed more than ten residential houses in Buchawara, Delegate area of Srinagar on Monday morning.
“It is a massive fire and at least 12 vehicles of fire and emergency services are dousing the flames,” an eyewitness told Kashmir Life. “We do not know how it happened?”
So far the cause of fire is not being ascertained. Police is also effectively present on the spot. They had to make serious efforts to ensure the residents do not damage themselves while saving their belongings.
“My heart goes out to the residents of these homes,” Omar Abdullah former Chief Minister wrote on twitter. “I hope the government steps in with some assistance”
