Eleven animals were charred to death when fire engulfed cowshed of Ghulam Mohammad Chopan son of Abdul Samad resident of Chopan Mohalla, Harwan, a police statement said on Saturday.

“Fire engulfed a nearby cowshed. In this incident, 11 animals were charred to death and both the structures were damaged. Police and fire tenders brought under fire,” the statement informed.

Fire broke out in the cowshed of Ghulam Hassan, Mushtaq Ahmed Dar and Nazir Ahmed sons of Abdul Gani residents of Hutmura, Islamabad resulting in the damage to the structure. Fire was brought under control by help of police and fire tenders.

Fire broke out in the residential house of Sonaullah Fafoo resident of Wazir Lane, Bar Bar Shah resulting in the partial damage to the house. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders and police.

The statement further said thatF fire broke out in a joint cowshed of Mohammad Akram Wani and Jalaludin Wani sons of Abdul Gani Wani resident of Teeli Mohallah, Awantipora, resulting in partial damage to the cowshed. Fire tenders and police brought fire under control.
